Strong Results from Police Action Day at Silver Street Station

A large policing operation took place today at Silver Street Station involving local police officers, PCSOs and two specialist drug detection dogs.

The aim was simple: to target those who come into our area to sell drugs or commit anti-social behaviour and to make our ward safer for everyone.

We're pleased to report that the operation produced some excellent results, including arrests, drug seizures and a number of individuals being dealt with for offences identified during the operation.

Drug crime and anti-social behaviour are among the top concerns raised by residents and remain key priorities for your local Safer Neighbourhood Team. Today's enforcement activity shows that we are actively listening to those concerns and taking action.

A visible police presence, combined with targeted enforcement, helps disrupt criminal activity and acts as a deterrent to those who seek to bring crime and disorder into our community.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support local policing and report issues to us.
